As we scale our 300-person team, we're seeking an exceptional HR Director to lead several HR domains and maintain our mission-driven culture while driving organizational excellence.

This role combines executive-level strategic thinking with hands-on work, serving as a key partner who drives the HR agenda while building and leading our C&B, HRIS, Analytics, OD and Employee Experience domains. 

What You'll Lead

  • Drive multi-year talent strategy aligned with Alice's business objectives 
  • Partner directly with the executive team on execution, organizational design and culture initiatives
  • Lead organizational change management during rapid scaling and transformation
  • Design and implement comprehensive C&B strategies, including global compensation frameworks
  • Partner with Finance on people-related budgeting, workforce planning, and ROI analysis
  • Use people analytics and data insights to identify trends, predict challenges, and drive proactive solutions
  • Drive employee experience initiatives that foster engagement, retention, and excellence across all functions
  • Drive leadership development efforts and succession planning
  • Identify and implement new policies, processes, technologies, and workflows that support growth and excellent employee experience
  • Leverage HRIS platforms and HR technology ecosystem for optimal efficiency and data accuracy
  • Manage, develop and mentor HR team members, creating clear career paths and growth opportunities within each domain

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who will thrive in a diverse, agile and fast-paced environment. Additional requirements for this role:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior roles partnering with executives and building HR teams in high-growth technology companies (200-500 employees preferred)
  • Multi-domain HR expertise with experience managing C&B, Employee Experience, and Organizational Development simultaneously
  • Startup/scale-up experience with demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and change management in rapid growth environments
  • Strategic business partnership with ability to quickly understand company objectives, build annual talent strategies, and translate them into measurable business results
  • Advanced people analytics capabilities with experience using data insights to drive strategic decisions and workforce planning
  • HRIS and compensation expertise including platform management, compensation benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and global rewards strategy
  • Technology proficiency with modern HR tech stack, emerging people analytics trends, and HR technology ecosystem management
  • Executive relationship management with exceptional ability to build trusted relationships across all levels and provide candid feedback to drive organizational change
  • Cross-functional leadership skills with proven track record coaching senior leaders and leading complex initiatives without formal authority
